The Nobel Prize Laureate Summit (NPLS) is a high profile annual meeting in China that was initiated in 2014 by Nobel Laureate in Physiology/Medicine Sir Richard Roberts, and is hosted by the International Society of Scientific Communications for Nobel Prize Laureates.
The vision was of a meeting that would bring some of the world’s most eminent scientists to China not just to meet and foster collaboration with their counterparts there, but also inspire a new generation of young Chinese students and scientists.
The second annual Nobel Prize Laureate Summit in 2015 will focus on Frontiers in Cancer Science, and cover some of the latest advances in the understanding and addressing of cancer. We’ve invited some of the world’s leading scientists and physicians who have made dramatic breakthroughs in cancer therapy.
We are hoping that by bringing Nobel laureates and other eminent scientists to China we will help advance cancer research and therapy in China and the world, and help the next generation of Chinese scientists realize their own Nobel Prize dreams.
